Studied chemical technology at the Chemical-Technological College (Tver, Russia), followed by bachelor and master studies in chemistry at the State University (Tver, Russia) with specialization in organic and macromolecular chemistry. She obtained her doctorate in the field of macromolecular chemistry and nanotechnology at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research and Dresden Technical University with a thesis concerning investigation of adsorption of model proteins on hyperbranched aromatic polyester thin films. Subsequently, she joined a Postdoc position in the In-Situ Spectroscopy Group at the Leibniz Institute of Analytical Science (ISAS, Berlin).
She has worked in intellectual property since 2007 and qualified as a German patent assessor in 2012 and as a European Patent Attorney in 2017. She joined Manitz Finsterwald Patentanwälte PartmbB in 2018. Registered representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC) since 2023.
