Studied physics at the University of Munich with specializations in optics and biophysics, and wrote his diploma thesis in the field of biomedical engineering, doctorate at the Institute of Radiation Biology in cooperation with the Eye Clinic of the University of Munich and the Helmholtz Research Centre for Environment and Health, industrial experience in the fields of holography and spectroscopy, active in intellectual property since 2005.

He joined Manitz Finsterwald Patent- und Rechtsanwaltspartnerschaft mbB in 2006 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2013.
