Studied engineering physics at the Munich University of Applied Sciences with a specialization in environmental conservation. He completed specialized training with a patent search certification course at the PATON Center at the Technical University of Ilmenau in 2014 and is registered with the „International Standards Board for Qualified Patent Information Professionals“ (ISBQPIP) as „Qualified Patent Information Professional“ (QPIP).

He joined Manitz Finsterwald Patent- und Rechtsanwaltspartnerschaft mbB in 1996.
